BIENVENIDOS A Casa del Mundo, an eco-guest house with 12 acres in Puerto Rico, nestled in the jungle above the river, Rio Guayanés. Next to a national reserve, it is located on the eastern side of a mountain with spectacular views of the northeastern sierras, in the heart of Rainforest Eco-tourism. It is the ideal destination for those of you who would like to get back to nature, or who would like to go hiking in a pristine rainforest, or who like birdwatching, or who appreciate a sustainable way of life. If you are feeling stressed out and want to get away from it all, Casa del Mundo gives you the perfect refuge at an affordable price. The PEACE PAVILION, “El Caney”, provides a serene place for meditation or yoga retreats, conferences, workshops, or classes, with floor space to seat up to 40 people. It is located just above the “La Flecha” swimming hole in Rio Guayanés. Casa del Mundo itself offers a superb haven for sustainable ecotourism at its best: a small scale, heart to heart, retreat into nature with low impact on the environment and positive interaction with the local community.
